Documenting enigmatic archetypes extant in the unconscious
Categorising the body of work, I venture flashback futurism - a glance of something essential, drawing on experience - architecture, art, movies, books, everyday objects and events - cognising, deconstructing and reconstructing to make an entirely new sense that one comprehends on a primal level - almost déjà-vu - an archetype you recognise, but neither know nor worry from where nor even what exactly it is.
Across diverse pieces, striving for purism and transcendence, result often inspired by medium, the work explores character of light, connotation of shadow, immediacy of space and time, and literal and non-literal negative spaces.
